When I first met Sarah and David during their engagement session at Arnold Arboretum, I knew they had something special. It was so clear from the start that they were best friends, I could tell when they looked at each other that they just felt immediately more comfortable, like they had their own world. Naturally, this made for some great candid moments! I am so happy to have been a part of their day and have the pleasure of getting to know these two over the last year.
One of the many reasons their day was so special was because they got married at a beautiful camp site, Camp Glen Brook in Marlborough, NH, and they had actually originally met at a nearby summer camp 15+ years ago! They started out as camp crushes and ended up married, and if that’s not straight out of a movie, I don’t know what is!
Although their whole day was a great one, some of my favorite moments included: an emotional first look between Sarah and her Dad and brothers, stunning mountain view husband and wife portraits, and lots (LOTS) of bridesmaids and groomsmen that showed just how loved and cared for these two really are! During the ceremony, everyone walking down the aisle carried a single wildflower and put it in a vase, and by the end there was a gorgeous, overflowing arrangement of all these wildflowers that perfectly represented the joining of all their friends and family. It was truly magical.
Sarah and David, thank you for having me a part of your day and letting me capture your story! You two are the sweetest, most kind hearted people I’ve met in a long time, and you make everyone feel welcome and included, and that is such a beautiful gift you both have! I can’t wait to see what amazing things lie ahead for your lives together 🙂
