This was such a special session in my home town of Groton, Massachusetts because not only are Brittani and Nick newly engaged, they’re also expecting! I’m so honored to have been able to capture this special time in their lives, it’s what being a photographer is all about! Their due date is in December 2019, so by their May wedding they’ll have an adorable 5 month old baby boy or girl! They are going to make great parents, and I can’t wait to meet the little one. Hopefully Winston is ready to be a big brother 🙂
Brittani and Nick both grew up in New Hampshire and actually went to middle & high school school together, got to know each other Freshman year, and officially started dating their senior year, a month before graduation, on May 2, 2015. Their wedding date is actually their 5 year dating anniversary! They are getting married at Josiah’s Meetinghouse, it is going to be a gorgeous day! I absolutely love my high school sweetheart couples who have grown up into adults & changed alongside each other.
They got engaged back in December in New York City, neither of them had gone before, and Nick surprised her with the trip a week before. Brittani couldn’t wait, and when they got to the Christmas tree at Rockefeller center, she noticed her mom was there and looked back at Nick to see him down on one knee! Her mom had also spent the day in NYC and surprised her by being there on that special day! Such a perfect way to pop the question 🙂
