It’s hard to believe that just 2 months ago I was capturing Tori & Adam’s engagement session, and now they’re married! The time has flown by, and I am so excited for the adventures and life ahead of them that they will have together!
Honestly, I have been looking forward to this day for a while now (aka, since the day they booked me, but who’s counting?) and this beautiful day did not disappoint.
Jackie & Kenny’s wedding could not have been more perfect! It was a gorgeous summer day in Washington, NH on Jackie’s parent’s lake house. I feel so incredibly lucky to have been able to capture their love story and special day!
I knew from their engagement session last year that their wedding would be a breeze, and I was right! Jackie and Kenny have nailed the candid poses, and their wedding day was such a happy, sweet, relaxed afternoon.
This was such a special session in my home town of Groton, Massachusetts because not only are Brittani and Nick newly engaged, they’re also expecting! I’m so honored to have been able to capture this special time in their lives, it’s what being a photographer is all about! Their due date is in December 2019, so by their May wedding they’ll have an adorable 5 month old baby boy or girl! They are going to make great parents, and I can’t wait to meet the little one. Hopefully Winston is ready to be a big brother 🙂
I pulled into the parking lot of Lynch Park with my windows down and my music a little too loud. I’ve lived in Massachusetts my whole life and yet I continue to be introduced to beautiful, quaint new cities like Beverly all the time. As I strolled through the park, the aromas of salt water and barbecue lingered in the breeze. People were laughing, cooking, playing music, tossing frisbees, hanging out with their dogs, laying out in the sun, enjoying the gorgeous summer day. We could not have asked for a more perfect day for an engagement session. We started out in the gardens and then made our way to the water to catch the sun setting in the background. Surprisingly, I was the only photographer there that day!
Sometimes God has a crazy way of bringing people into your life… Last year, I second shot Tori’s sister-in-law, Paige’s, wedding, and that wedding was one of the first (and also one of the most fun… also one of the most hot) weddings I would ever photograph! Tori was actually also a bridesmaid in Paige’s […]
After months, sometimes years, of planning, emails and texts back and forth and periodic check-ins, my clients can start to feel more like friends. I love following along with my brides on Instagram and getting to know them personally, too. Sometimes I feel like part of my job is to be a personal cheerleader, when […]
After almost a straight month of rain, the New England weather finally held up this weekend just for Sarah and David’s beautiful engagement session. The Arnold Arboretum was the perfect location, complete with a gorgeous city-scape view of Boston at the end! I love working with couples that have such a genuine love you can […]
Today is a good day. Living with depression means there are good and bad days, and today is a good one. Today I crossed off things on my to-do list that I’ve been meaning to do for a while now. It’s important that I tell you this because I have to be real and honest […]
We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect New England fall day. After weeks of rain, this day was like the rainbow after a storm, bright and colorful and stunning. (& warm!) The kind of day that you just can’t help but think how crazy beautiful this world is. I *may* have yelled excitedly WAIT […]
Back in January, before I had ever even been to a wedding as an adult, Kayla reached out to me inquiring about wedding photography. Even though I didn’t even have a wedding portfolio to show her at the time, she liked my portrait work and booked me to shoot her engagement photos. Since then, I’ve […]
